BE.rings - a brushstroke of freedom in the make-up world

Finally we can show you the project born from our participation in DEEP, held at the Villa delle Magnolie clinic in Castel Morrone (CE).

Through BE.rings, we aim to realize the dream of making make-up accessible to everyone, regardless of motor abilities, allowing everyone to express their beauty.

Who is it for?

BE.rings is designed for those who want to enjoy the beauty of make-up but has difficulty in applying it because of limited mobility in the hands.

It's for those who are complex the use of traditional brushes and applicators due to weak strength and dexterity, needing a way to simplify the make-up application process through a light, intuitive, and easy-to-use device.

Multidisciplinary collaboration for development

Since April 2023, we've collaborated with healthcare professionals (doctors, psychologists, nurses, physiotherapists), occupational therapists, and designers to develop and test our idea.

The support of healthcare professionals has allowed us to acquire the necessary skills to be able to really improve a tool that can be helpful for those in need.

What is BE.rings?

BE.rings is an innovative solution that combines beauty and functionality.

Its name a fusion of "Beauty" and "Rings" because these two devices are designed to be worn as elegant jewelry.

Each set of BE.rings includes two rings to wear, one on the thumb and the other, with a unique S shape, on the chosen finger (index or middle).

These rings are designed to simplify make-up application, allowing for a secure grip on tools like pencils, brushes of various sizes, mascara, and much more.

The S-shaped ring is designed to allow the use of thicker tools, such as mascara or larger brushes, while the other ring, worn on the thumb, offers precision with multiple slots specifically designed for thinner brushes and tools.

Their versatility is a key feature, allowing exploration of a full range of make-up tools without compromising grip or precision.

The versatility of 3D printing is at the core of BE.rings, enabling us to customize the rings to fit the specific dimensions of each user.

This process has freed us from the typical constraints of traditional molding, allowing us to focus entirely on user needs.

Make-up inclusivity

What makes BE.rings unique is that it's not just a make-up aid; it's designed to be worn as a fashionable set of rings. This means that when not used for make-up application, they can still be worn as jewelry. They are small, lightweight, and comfortable, perfect for touch-ups during a day out.

At the moment, you can find the printing file for the 19mm size here, and rest assured, we are working to add all sizes, which will be available soon.
